Our self bows make a great starting point in archery.

Our self bows/reenactment bows can be made from a range of timbers such as Ash, Sycamore and Hickory and are all made to bend 'full compass'. These timbers can also be backed with Hickory or Maple if required. You can have a choice of horn side nocks (as seen on the bows recovered from the Mary Rose) or self nocks seen opposite.

Weights available from 25lb - 50lb
(please note that some reenactment groups have a
restriction on the draw weight of a bow).
